Wales rugby press conference Live as Gatland considers cuts

Wales will host a press conference this lunchtime as a decisive week begins.

The entire squad is reporting for duty for the first time this week, before heading to Switzerland on July 3 for a brutal training camp.

It comes after five-weeks of mini-camps that have been the start of the long World Cup journey. Along the way, the initial 54-man training squad has already been reduced to 49 players after a series of withdrawals.

Despite the upheaval, Gatland is confident his team can cause a World Cup shock. He has been expected to cut his squad further before heading to Switzerland, and that could even come as early as today.
