Wales press conference Live updates as Dan Biggar fitness update to be issued
Wales will hold a press conference today as their Rugby World Cup campaign continues to take a break following their heroics against Australia last weekend. Warren Gatland's men made it three wins from three, securing maximum points in the process after a perfect start to the tournament following opening wins against Fiji and Portugal.
Victory over the Wallabies has seen their place in the quarter-finals assured but a win against Georgia - their next opponents a week on Saturday - will assure them top spot in Pool C. If that is secured, their opponents in the last eight will be either Japan or Argentina.
The only downside to the emphatic 40-6 win over Eddie Jones' men in Lyon was the injury to fly-half Dan Biggar, who left the field early on with a pectoral issue. We are likely to get an update on his condition this afternoon, and any other players carrying knocks, when a member of the Wales coaching staff will address the media in Versailles.
