Virals: West Ham 'remain keen' on EFL defender Joe Worrall

West Ham reportedly ‘remain keen’ on Nottingham Forest central defender Joe Worrall.

The 25-year-old star has been linked with the Hammers previously and there is also expected to be interest from Burnley.

West Ham could look to explore a move again for Nottingham Forest centre-back Joe Worrall in the January transfer window.

A fresh report from Claret & Hugh has now claimed that the East London club are still keen on the Englishman.

The report states that David Moyes continues to ‘keep a careful eye’ on the three-cap England Under 21 international.

This season Worrall has earned an impressive 7.04 average Sofascore rating from 26 Championship outings.

West Ham have been awash with links to various centre-backs over the last few months and the £3.6million valued man is among the leading contenders.

Despite being inexperienced at Premier League level, the former Rangers man does have Europa League appearances to call upon in terms of exposure to the top players.

Young enough to improve further and likely well within Moyes’ summer budget, Worrall would be a superb addition to the squad at the London Stadium.
