Virals: Kyogo sends exciting message to Celtic fans ahead of new campaign

Celtic striker Kyogo has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Hoops support ahead of the team’s pre-season fixtures starting in Austria.

Kyogo has just returned to Celtic training after his international call-up, and he it sounds like he is looking forward to returning to club activates.

“Back to work. The new season starts. Return to the league match. The new season is about to begin!”

Celtic’s first game of the pre-season tour of Austria takes place on Wednesday, when the Hoops take on Wiener Viktoria, but Kyogo probably won’t feature for the Bhoys as he is a bit behind on his pre-season training compared to some of his teammates.

Celtic fans will be excited by Kyogo’s comments as he gets set for his second full season with the Hoops. The forward will be excited for the campaign too, as he did miss four months of last season with a hamstring issue. Despite that, he still managed to score goals on a regular basis when he returned to the side after injury.

The last time that Celtic fans saw Kyogo was on the last day of last season against Motherwell, when not only did the Hoops pick up the league trophy, but Kyogo score two good goals, to take his total for the season to 20.

Kyogo could score more goals in the upcoming season if he can stay fit and avoid the type of long-term injury that derailed much of last season for the player.

The big test for Kyogo in season 2022/23 aside from staying fit will be playing in the Champions League group stages. He did well for the Hoops in the Europa League group stages last season, but the Champions League will present a sterner test for the forward.

However, Kyogo looks to be the type of player that could thrive in the Champions League with the skillset
