Virals: Club confirm that Celtic Park will be full on flag day

Celtic fans are already getting behind the club in huge number, and the season hasn’t even started yet.

This was shown when the Hoops recently confirmed on Twitter that ‘flag day’ at Celtic Park, when the Bhoys will receive the league flag for winning the league last season before the match against Aberdeen, has already sold out.

Interestingly, the club also confirmed that the recent game against Blackburn and the upcoming match against Norwich were also both sold out, as the Hoops fans continue to support the job done by Ange Postecoglou in his time as Celtic manager.

There really does seem to be a demand to see Celtic in action at the moment, and that is shown by the fact that so many tickets have been sold for pre-season friendlies, that rarely ever happens.

What is more important though, is that the opening league game of the season against Aberdeen is a sell-out, and it is good to see that ‘flag day’ – which is an important occasion for the Hoops, will take place at a full capacity Celtic Park.

It will be the last moment of celebration for last season before the 2022/23 season kicks into gear, and the achievements of last season deserve to be celebrated by the biggest crowd possible.
