Viral clip of Harry Kane's assist for Son Heung-min vs Aston Villa is mind-blowingly good

Harry Kane was credited with a hat-trick of assists as Tottenham beat Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

After Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton earlier in the afternoon, Spurs had the opportunity to go three points clear of their north London rivals with victory at Villa Park.

And they did just that.

They were ahead within three minutes as Kane’s shot was deflected into the path of Heung-Min Son, who finished brilliantly.

Villa dominated much of the first half but Steven Gerrard’s side couldn’t find a way past Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal.

And the away side made them pay after the break.

Kane turned provider again to assist Dejan Kulusevski five minutes into the second half.

But it was his assist for Son in the 66th-minute that we want to talk about.

At first viewing, it looked as though Kane had simply headed the ball on for Son to run onto and score.

But a new angle has emerged that shows just how good the assist really was.

Cristian Romero clips a pass towards Kane’s head with Ezri Konsa marking him tightly. It was a difficult ball to control but the striker had absolutely no intentions of controlling the ball.

Instead, with the ball in midflight, Kane looked over his shoulder to see where Son was. A quick glance was all that was needed as Kane returned his attention to the ball and flicked the ball perfectly into Son’s path to put him through on goal.

There's no way Kane was looking for Sonny while the ball was mid-air and ended up delivering a precise through ball with his head…
