Viral Ange clip gets Celtic fans creasing as they declare 'look what Tottenham have done to him'

It's only the first week of the Premier League season but it's already getting a bit too much for Ange Postecoglou.

The Tottenham boss watched his team play out a Monday night blockbuster with Leicester that ended all square after the immutable Jamie Vardy cancelled out Pedro Porro's opener to ensure a share of the spoils. But nine minutes of stoppage time yielded utter chaos -– both teams could have nicked it with Stephy Mavididi spurning a brilliant chance for the hosts before Richarlison, thrown on by Ange to find a winner just moments earlier, missed a sitter of a header at the back post.

The latter was arguably the best chance to win it and came in added time on added time, nearly the 100th minute of football. And after he sent it wide, the Sky Sports cameras cut to Postecoglou, hunched over, hands on knees and staring at the ground. It was very much a 'we've all been there' moment from the boss who had been put through the ringer and the clip soon went viral on social media.

It was The One Show presenter Roman Kemp who shared it initially on X and there were plenty of Celtic fans in the replies. One wrote: 'Look what Spurs have done to this magnificent man,' while another replied with a famous clip from the Godfather, where Marlon Brando's Don Corleone laments "look how they massacred my boy".

Another joked it might well be related to current events at Celtic. They added: "O'Riley looks like he's leaving and maybe Reo..." Another simply wrote 'me too, mate' while another said, 'I thought he was being sick there!' and one more added "looks like he's done already".
