Vinted seller gets petty revenge on shopper who demanded item immediately
Vinted, the online marketplace for second-hand clothes can be a fantastic way to earn some extra cash and snag a bargain. However, one woman found herself exasperated after a buyer made unreasonable demands following a £3 purchase from her.
The seller, who was hoping for "a good clear out before Christmas," was left frustrated by the buyer's "extreme" behaviour. She was selling mainly clothes for a few pounds, explaining: "I work full time, so can't just run off to the post office every time someone places an order, which I imagine is the same for most people using the app."
On Mumsnet, she detailed how a customer purchased a jumper from her on a Wednesday evening without first inquiring when she could post it. The buyer then messaged her the next morning, requesting that she "post the item ASAP," leaving her slightly irritated - but it got worse.

She responded to the shopper, explaining that due to her work commitments, she wouldn't be able to post the item until the weekend. As per Vinted's rules, sellers have five working days from the date of purchase to dispatch their item, and buyers are encouraged to communicate with sellers beforehand if they need the item urgently.
However, the customer was not satisfied and wanted her £3 item dispatched promptly, leading her to repeatedly contact the seller throughout the day.
"Am I being unreasonable to think this is extreme? Over a £3 jumper? I had packaged the order and was planning to post it today (shop is open until 9 pm), but she p***ed me off so much I just cancelled it," she fumed, sharing the petty revenge she'd got on the woman.
