Vince McMahon: Austin Theory dispels difficult reputation of WWE Chairman

Austin Theory has spoken out against the reputation that Vince McMahon can be difficult to work with.

Ever since Survivor Series and the fallout over Vince McMahon’s stolen Cleopatra Egg, Austin Theory has become the newest on-screen partner of the WWE Chairman. Taking Theory under his wing, the upstart is McMahon’s latest protégé, guiding him to a number of notable wins on Monday Night Raw.

Working alongside Vince McMahon is obviously a big deal for the 24-year-old and has spoken on the relationship in an interview with TVInsider. Dispelling the long belief that McMahon can be unwilling to compromise and revealing that he’s always open to questions despite having so many hats to wear when running the company.

For me, there has always been the stigma of Vince McMahon that he is not nice or one-way about stuff. That it’s his way or no way. From what I’ve seen and my experience, he is on another level. All the hats he wears. He is so invested in everybody and somehow makes everything work. I think that’s so crazy to see him doing it for that long and staying that sharp.”

“If I have a question or see anybody have a question, and they want to talk to him, they always get an answer. They always get a conversation. I think that is so cool to really see the passion he still has for what he does. It hasn’t left him at all. For me personally, it is cool to know this man’s a billionaire and still working like he has a grand in his bank account.”

Theory, who’s set to go one-on-one with Pat McAfee at WrestleMania next weekend – where McMahon is expected to be heavily involved – also commented on the position he finds himself in WWE. Noting that anyone in WWE would be honoured to be working with the WWE Chairman.
