Vile son, 56, moved back in with his elderly mum then abused and stole off her

A man who abused his own elderly mum, stole her wedding rings and used her bank account left her ‘fearing for what was coming next’.

Darren Mayman moved in with the 78-year-old after being released from prison. He was due to stay with her and her husband temporarily, but ended up living with them on a ‘permanent basis’.

“The defendant was erratic, he would isolate her from her friends, calling one of them a witch and telling another he would ‘give them cancer,” the prosecutor added.
