Victor Lindelof explains Manchester United dressing room reaction to newest signings

Victor Lindelof has revealed Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana have made good first impressions at Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag has signed three players, Mason Mount, Onana and Hojlund, so far this summer and it's hoped the latest arrivals can help the team progress again following a promising first season in which United won the Carabao Cup.

Onana signed from Inter Milan for £43.8m (plus £3.4m in add-ons) and Hojlund signed from Atalanta for £64m (plus £8m in add-ons).

Onana, who is brilliant with the ball at his feet, has impressed in games against Wolves and Tottenham, but Hojlund is still waiting to make his debut due to signing with a minor back injury which currently has him sidelined.

Lindelof spoke to club media this week to reveal that both players had managed to make a good impression.

"It's been great," Lindelof said when asked about his feelings on having Hojlund at the club. "Ever since he signed, obviously he hasn't been able to train with us yet, but hopefully he can score goals for us and help us win games. I'm looking forward to working with him and hopefully he can be back soon with the team.

"He [Onana] is a very nice guy, I mean since he's been settling in very well, you know he speaks Spanish, French and English as well.
So it's easy for him to communicate with everyone and that also makes it easier for him.

"He's not afraid to speak up and that's always a good thing. Like I've said before, you should be able to demand things from your teammates. Obviously, coming here [in 2017], I had a goal to be important for the team.
