Victor Lindelof admits he will consider his future amid frustration at Manchester United

Victor Lindelof said he will consider his future at Manchester United in the summer due to frustration at his lack of game time.

Lindelof has made just five starts in the Premier League this season and, over the last few months, he's appeared to become the fourth-choice centre-back behind Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire.

The 28-year-old, who is contracted at Old Trafford until the summer of 2024, has gradually been handed fewer minutes as the season has progressed and he's now admitted he'll consider his options at the end of the campaign.

Lindelof is currently on international duty with Sweden and he was asked about his lack of game time on Thursday afternoon.

"Of course like every player, you want to play every game and obviously I haven't done that this season," Lindelof said. "But like I always say when I come here [international duty], it's a pleasure to be here and I'm always happy to represent my country.

"I'm really looking forward to the games that we have and I spoke to Janne [Sweden's manager] before to say I was really looking forward to coming here and to perform, and to be on the pitch with the guys again.

"Like I said, I want to play, that's why I play football, I want to play games, but I haven't thought about that [transfer away], right now I'm just focussing on the national team and then of course, the rest of the season with the club.

"Then in the summer we'll re-evaluate and see what is best."

Lindelof was also asked if takeover reports affect the players and he added: "No, not really I wouldn't say that. We know that there have been ongoing talks and whatever happens, happens, but our main focus is to play
