Vicente Besuijen faces Aberdeen FC loan exit prospect after Conference League squad snub in game time search

Vicente Besuijen could leave Aberdeen on loan again.

The Dutch midfielder is attracting Asian and domestic interest and the 22-year-old could still move as there are clubs keen where their transfer windows are still open. He could even go to the Scottish Championship, where they can also take loans until the end of the month. Besuijen hasn’t featured in Barry Robson’s plans this season. Robson had previously said the playmaker would remain but the attacker wants to get games and is keen to see if a suitable loan deal can be agreed.

Aberdeen have also left Besuijen out of their squad for the Europa Conference League group stages to free him up for a potential move. He was signed from ADO Den Haag last year and although he made an instant impact he fell out of favour under former boss Jim Goodwin. Besuijen was sent out on loan to Dutch club Excelsior last season but that spell was wrecked by injury, before he returned for pre-season with Aberdeen.

Elsewhere, Shayden Morris has been ruled out for 10 weeks. The winger looks set to miss the majority of the Conference League campaign after being named in the squad.
