'Very harsh' - Manchester United fans question Erik ten Hag call vs Crystal Palace

Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for Manchester United's Premier League showdown with Crystal Palace at Old Trafford this afternoon, making a handful of changes.

United, who have won just one of their last three league meetings with the Londoners, will be looking to register a third successive win in all competitions following Tuesday night's 3-0 win over the same opponent in the Carabao Cup. Alejandro Garnacho, Anthony Martial and Casemiro got themselves on the scoresheet to secure a routine victory.

It means Ten Hag will be keen to see another strong performance and victory from his side this afternoon, as they go in search of back-to-back league wins. The Dutchman, as expected, has decided to make a few alterations to the side that won in midweek, making four in total.

Victor Lindelof, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund have come into the side, meaning Harry Maguire, Hannibal Mejbri, Garnacho and Martial have dropped out.

Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay, who missed out in midweek, have been named among the substitutes. However, United are without Lisandro Martinez and Sergio Reguilon because of injury problems.

Having made the decision to make four changes to the side that was victorious in midweek, Ten Hag will be hoping to see his side clinch another positive result, as they aim to continue their recent upturn in form. It is the omission from Hannibal from the starting XI that has attracted the most attention from United's supporters in the immediate aftermath of the team news being confirmed.
