Venues confirmed for Republic of Ireland's Euro 2025 play-offs

The Republic of Ireland's UEFA Women's EURO 2025 home qualifying play-off with Georgia will take place at Tallaght Stadium, with the Aviva Stadium lined up for round 2 should they progress.

Eileen Gleeson’s side enter the play-offs as a seeded side courtesy of their group victory over France as they chase a first-ever European Championships appearance.

After travelling to Georgia for the first leg on 23 October, the Girls in Green will return to Tallaght for a 7.30pm kick off on Tuesday, 29 October with live coverage on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.

If Ireland progress, they will then face Wales or Slovakia in another two-legged tie.

The home fixture is scheduled for Tuesday, 3 December, against at 7.30pm, and will take place at the Aviva Stadium.

If Gleeson’s side negotiate both rounds, they will book a spot at the finals in Switzerland.

"We’re delighted to have both Tallaght Stadium and the Aviva Stadium confirmed for the European Qualifying Play-off stages," said Gleeson.

"Tallaght Stadium has played a huge part in the journey of the Women’s National Team and we look forward to experiencing another incredible experience generated by our wonderful fans.

"Should we progress to Round 2 of the play-offs, the Aviva Stadium will be a fitting venue for what could be another historic milestone in Irish women’s football.

"Playing in front of our home fans is always an honour for the team. The support of our fans makes a huge difference for the girls and to potentially finish our Euro 2025 qualifying campaign in front of a packed Aviva Stadium would truly be magical.

"For now, full focus remains on Phase 1 of the qualifiers and our games versus Georgia. We look forward to seeing everyone back in our home stadiums soon."
