Van Dijk, Rudiger, Matip: Premier League's 20 best CBs in 21/22 as Laporte reacts to PFA TotY
Aymeric Laporte did not appear to be impressed when the PFA Team of the Year was revealed on Thursday.
The team, voted for by footballers in England’s top tier, featured just three Manchester City players.
None of Laporte, Ruben Dias or John Stones made the side at centre-back.
Instead, the two centre-backs that were named in the team were Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger.
Laporte took to social media to send a series of posts following his omission.
