Valorant Update 4.08 Release Date and Patch Notes
Valorant Update 4.08 is now here and we have got the full Patch Notes and all the changes coming with this new update.
Riot has finally graced us with the VALORANT Patch 4.08 Update which introduces the new initiator Fade alongside a few major agent changes to Jett, Sova, and Neon.
Jett has been one of Valorant’s best agents since the start and with Valorant Update 4.08, Riot has nerfed her massively.
This will surely change how players go about picking agents in the game. Apart from this, the developers have buffed Neon, made adjustments to the ranked queues, and reduced the Rank Rating gain/loss penalty for different 5-stack configurations.
So without further ado, here are the full patch notes for Valorant Update 4.08 and a look at what’s been changed.
The Valorant Update 4.08 went live on Wednesday 27th April 2022 and is available to download on all supported devices/platforms.
Here are all the patch notes in full. They have been gathered from the official website of the Valorant developers (Riot):

The team loves what Jett has continually brought to the fight, but as the game has evolved, some of her impacts have pushed beyond what we think is healthy for the tactical promise of VALORANT. Our update to Tailwind aims to address these concerns while maintaining the aggressive site takes and awe inspiring highlight plays Jett should bring to the roster.
Check out our full article on the Jett update here for a complete breakdown of our approach and the philosophies that drove this update. We expect this change to have ripple effects on the Agents around Jett and the ecosystem overall, so we’ll keep a close eye not only on Jett, but any cascading impacts on the entire roster.
