USC is now the best Pac-12 team in the 2023-24 men's Way-Too-Early Top 25 - ESPN

The Pac-12 has seen plenty of roster fluctuation so far this offseason, with UCLA and Arizona undergoing serious personnel changes, Arizona State essentially rebuilding its entire roster and Colorado keeping things intact in hopes of a major step forward.

But after Bronny James' commitment to USC on Saturday, Andy Enfield and the Trojans have emerged as the favorite to win the conference. James kept the entire men's college basketball world in the dark for most of the past year, never coming out with a school list or participating in most of the staples of a traditional recruitment. But with Lakers star LeBron James playing in Los Angeles next season, it always made sense for his son to play nearby — as he did at Sierra Canyon School in suburban Chatsworth for high school.

Bronny James has steadily progressed as a player during his high school career, filling different roles as he got older. He is a consistent two-way player who is comfortable being a complementary player to more proven or more talented teammates, but he also has improved his outside jumper and shot-creation ability. From day one, James will be able to hit open shots, finish in transition and make plays defensively for a now-improved USC.
