Urgent police appeal over missing man last seen walking on Oxford Road

Police have issued an urgent appeal to the public for help to find a missing man.

They said 'Daniel' was last seen on Monday afternoon walking on Oxford Road in Manchester city centre.

It's believed the 29-year-old was heading towards Wilmslow Road. No surname for him has been provided.

Greater Manchester Police has issued a CCTV image of Daniel and his description, urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

In a social media appeal, the force said: "Can you help police find Daniel, 29, who was last seen on Oxford Road, Manchester, walking in the direction of Wilmslow Road, at 3.15pm yesterday (Monday 7 July 2023).

"Anyone with information should contact GMP on 0161 856 8580 quoting log 2201 of 07/08/23."

Police said Daniel was last seen at around 3.15pm.

He was wearing a navy blue gilet, a black long-sleeved top and black jogging bottoms. Daniel is described as white, 6ft, of medium build with short dark hair. No further details have been revealed.
