Urgent appeal to find missing girl, 11, last seen in school uniform

An urgent appeal has been issued to find an 11-year-old girl who went missing on Monday afternoon (October 2). Tia, whose surname was not given, was last seen on Bradfield Road in Urmston at around 3.20pm.

She was last seen wearing a dark purple jacket with a black fur hood, grey skirt, black tights, black shoes, black blazer, blue jumper and with a red and white tie.

Tia is described by police as being from a mixed ethnic background, around 4ft 2ins tall, of slim build with black afro shoulder length hair which is tied back. She also wears glasses.

Greater Manchester Police have shared a picture of Tia in her school uniform as part of the appeal and have urged anyone with any information to come forward and contact the force.

Officers are said to be 'becoming increasingly concerned' about Tia and 'want to make sure she is safe and well.'
