Call 999 if you see these missing girls believed to have travelled to Manchester'

People are being urged to call 999 if they see two teenage girls believed to have caught a train to Manchester. Destiny, 16, and Marley, 14, are believed to have travelled to the city from Blackpool yesterday evening (October 13).

Nobody has heard from them since around 7pm last night, but police believe the pair are together. The girls are missing from the Wyre area of Lancashire.

They were last seen at Keepers Lane, in Barnacre, at 11.05am yesterday. Marley (pictured left) is 5ft 1ins tall and has long dark hair with faded red colour in it.

She was last seen wearing a cream crop top, cream joggers that say 'calm' on them, a cream jacket with a fur hood and grey Crocs with bright blue socks. She was carrying a beige handbag with a grey handle with writing on it.

Destiny is 5ft 4ins tall, with mousey brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black top, a black River Island coat and black trainers.

As well as Manchester, the pair have links to Blackpool, Preston and Derbyshire. A Lancashire Police spokesperson added: "We are appealing for anyone with information about their whereabouts, whether that be the public, the girls themselves or their friends, to contact the police straight away because we are very concerned about their welfare."

Anyone with information on the girls' whereabouts is urged to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 1524 of October 13, 2023. For immediate sightings call 999.
