Urgent appeal as teenager goes missing in her nightie in the early hours

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to trace a teenager who went missing in the early hours from Salford.

Yodit was last seen on Cannon Street at around 1am on Thursday morning (June 20), officers said. The 18-year-old was last seen wearing a floral nightie with a blue/brown pattern on and red open-toe flip-flops.

She is described as being around 5ft 4in tall. Yodit has curly black hair that is tied in a bun with a middle parting, police added.

In an appeal posted on social media last night, Greater Manchester Police said 'officers want to make sure she is found safe and well'. The force shared a picture of Yodit in the nightie she was last seen wearing.

Anyone who spots Yodit, or who has any information on her whereabouts, should get in touch. Officers can be contacted on 0161 856 5168 quoting log 1909 on 20/6/24.
