URC team news: Beirne and Snyman start for Munster, Leinster make 9 changes

Two of Munster's biggest and most dynamic forwards will team up for the first time tomorrow evening as the province seek to extend their season.

Munster head to Glasgow looking to become the first away team to prevail in Scotstoun this season, making two changes to the side that drew with Sharks in Durban two weeks ago.

Both switches for Saturday's BKT URC quarter-final (live on RTÉ2, RTÉ Player and RTÉ Radio 1) are in the pack as RG Snyman comes into the second row and Tadhg Beirne starts at blindside flanker.

Due to Snyman's awful run of knee ligament injuries it will be the first time the powerful pair have played together for the province.

Beirne makes his first Munster appearance since January after recovering from an ankle injury sustained in during the Guinness Six Nations.

Mike Haley starts at full-back with Calvin Nash and Shane Daly on either flank.

Malakai Fekitoa and Antoine Frisch form the centre partnership as Conor Murray and Jack Crowley start in the half-backs.

Jeremy Loughman, Diarmuid Barron and Stephen Archer pack down in the front row with Jean Kleyn and Snyman in the engine room.

Beirne, captain Peter O'Mahony and Gavin Coombes complete the starting XV.

Niall Scannell, Roman Salanoa and John Hodnett all come into the squad as replacements after recovering from knocks.
