"Upgrade" - Journalist says Conte "trusts" Spurs 24 y/o "more than" he did Ndombele & Dele Alli

Tottenham new boy Rodrigo Bentancur is an “upgrade” on Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele based on the trust Antonio Conte has for him, says journalist Paul Brown.

The 24-year-old and Dejan Kulusevski both joined Spurs in the January transfer window to give the north London club a huge boost.

Bentancur played a role in Tottenham’s impressive 3-2 victory over Manchester City, so his arrival is already starting to pay off. And the same can be said about Kulusevski, who scored in the game before netting again in the 4-0 win against Leeds.

“I was very clear when I signed Bentancur and Kulusevski. Two perfect players for the club, young talented players to develop,” Conte was recently quoted
