"This is no good for anyone" - Journalist drops big claim with Conte facing ongoing Spurs issue

Tottenham‘s win-loss-win pattern is no good for anyone at the club, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

For the umpteenth time in recent weeks, Antonio Conte’s side got their campaign back on track by beating Brighton on Wednesday.

Despite Brighton’s wretched form, a trip to the Amex Stadium is never an easy assignment. But after the 3-2 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday, it was inevitable that Spurs would bounce back with three points on the South Coast.

After almost every defeat in recent months, Tottenham have followed it up with a victory, with their 2-0 win over the Seagulls continuing their incredible win-loss-win run, which currently stands at eight games.

The Old Trafford defeat aside, this game kept inline with Spurs’ general Premier League form of late in terms of comfortable wins.

Harry Kane missed an early sitter, while Dejan Kulusevski fluffed an equally good opportunity, but Cristian Romero’s fortuitous first Tottenham goal opened the scoring before Kane made up for his earlier miss by sealing the victory early in the second half.

Following Arsenal’s defeat at Liverpool later on Wednesday evening, Spurs moved back to within three points of the Champions League places, although they’ll need to end their strange recent run of results to give themselves any chance of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “He’s got to get through this season and then see what he can get through the door, so next season isn’t as inconsistent as this one because this is no good for anyone. You can’t be winning, losing, winning, losing week after week. We don’t know where Tottenham are at, at the moment.”
