Updates as tributes pour in for Paul O'Grady who has died aged 67
Tributes are flooding across social media following the death of much-loved TV host Paul O'Grady. It was confirmed that he had passed away "unexpectedly but peacefully" yesterday evening by his partner Andre Portasio.
During his career, he hosted The Paul O’Grady Show, Blind Date and Blankety Blank, as well as ITV’s multi-award-winning For The Love Of Dogs. He was also renowned for his drag queen alter ego, Lily Savage.
O'Grady was also a stalwart of the airwaves, presenting his BBC Radio 2 Sunday afternoon programme for the final time in August 2022 after a 14-year stint on air.
