Heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76, his family have announced. The news comes just weeks after he performed for the final time with Black Sabbath.
A statement from his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."
He had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
Tributes are pouring in from across the world of showbiz and entertainment. The star - who was known as The Prince of Darkness, was described as a "huge trailblazer" by Sir Elton John.
He posted on Instagram: "So sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away"
Osbourne leaves behind his wife, Sharon, and their children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, as well his two older children, Jessica and Louis, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, and grandchildren.
