Unreal: Wolves supporters will be purring as footage of 19 y/o emerges - opinion

Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle may well have fans feeling rather excited after he displayed his fantastic talent in a recent video.  

While some of the senior stars have been away on international duty, the club’s younger players have been keeping their heads down and working hard back in England.

Indeed, the Wolves Under-23s recently took on Southampton in the Premier League 2. Impressively, the side managed to make it six league wins in a row as they overcame the Saints 4-2 in a thrilling match.

Indeed, they trailed 2-1 in the 69th minute but managed to turn the game around, with Cundle scoring his team’s fourth in the 90th minute of the game – and in some fashion, too.

For the goal, the young midfielder linked up superbly with teammate Taylor Perry, playing a number of one-twos with him, before skipping past a number of challenges, as well as the goalkeeper, to finally put the ball in the back of the net.

The footage was uploaded to Instagram by the club’s official account and it would have many Wolves fans licking their lips.

TIF Thoughts on Luke Cundle and Wolves…

While he certainly showed off his skill in that moment, it’s not the first time supporters have had a glimpse of the 19-year-old’s top talent.

Indeed, earlier this season, he made a great impression in a Premier League start against Tottenham Hotspur as he made it through the game with a 96% passing accuracy, helping the team to a win along the way.

While he may be a little way off regular first-team action just yet, the recent injury to fellow Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves could potentially open the door for him between now and the end of the season.

Regardless, after seeing what he can produce in this most recent footage, Cundle is certainly one to keep
