UK’s largest Asian supermarket chain to open in the Arndale

The largest Asian retailer in the UK has confirmed it will be opening a new store inside Manchester Arndale. Oseyo, which already has a site on Oxford Road, will bring the 'vibrant flavours of Korea and Asia' to the heart of the city centre after signing a 15-year lease for a 12,580 sq ft unit.

Meaning 'welcome' in Korean, the retailer will be providing a wide variety of groceries and products, from snacks and sauces to fresh produce and authentic ingredients. Catering to both the Korean community and those eager to explore new culinary experiences, they will be bringing some exciting produce from some of Korea’s biggest food brands, as well as toys, stationary, homeware and electronics.

The new Manchester site represents the eleventh store opening for the Korean supermarket brand in the UK, with other locations including Cambridge and several across London including Soho, Camden Town and Battersea Power Station. As well as ingredients and dishes like Korea Fried Chicken, Kimchi Flavoured Dumplings and corn dogs, Oseyo also specialises in speciality drinks and K-Pop gifts and beauty products.
