UFC fighter Kyle Daukaus reveals full extent of damage after brutal knockout loss to Roman Dolidze

UFC star Kyle Daukaus revealed he has undergone surgery after breaking bones and smashing his face as he spoke for the first time since his brutal stoppage defeat to Roman Dolidze.

The American MMA fighter shared a rather painful-looking video of him sat at home showing his swollen face.

He also said that he is suffering from three broken bones.

Daukaus, 29, shared the post on his Instagram account with the caption: “Quick update for why I look like Two-Face.”

The video also showed him wearing what looked to be strapping around his face to keep the bones in place.

It is unclear when he will return to the Octagon but it appears he won’t be forced to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the year.

The American was kneed in the face in the first round of the curtain-raiser for Josh Emmett’s main event clash with Calvin Kattar at the Moody Center in Austin on June 18.

Daukaus was sent crashing to the canvas as Dolidze continued to hammer away with a few unanswered strikes before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

He was rushed straight to hospital after the fight and confirmed he was undoing surgery a few hours later.

And the MMA fighter has now come out and updated fans on his progress.

He said: “I just kind of wanted to come on and give everybody an update as to what’s going on with my face and stuff and why it’s so swollen and everything.

“During the fight, I got kneed, obviously.

“As soon as the knee landed, it kind of broke my face in three places.

“The scans I got, I had two orbital fractures, and I think I had a fracture in my eye
