UFC 281: Fight Card, tickets, date and more

UFC 281 is set to take place in November 2022 from the world-famous Madison Square Garden, and we’ve got all of the information you need to know ahead of this massive MMA event!

The company has now confirmed that the main event will be an extremely anticipated bout when UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya defends his 185-pound title against Alex Pereira.

This contest is so massively hyped by MMA fans and critics as Pereira has two wins over Adesanya in the pro kickboxing world, with Alex having secured an incredible knockout over ‘The Last Stylebender’ in his final GLORY kickboxing bout.

As of writing, the UFC has only confirmed the epic main event between Adesanya and Pereira.

We will of course update this page as and when the company confirms more bouts for the event from Madison Square Garden this November.

According to Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour, the company is also looking to book Dustin Poirier vs Michael Chandler in a massive Lightweight division bout.

This will be Poirier’s return to the octagon after losing to Charles Oliveira at UFC 269 back in December 2021. Prior to this though, ‘The Diamond’ had been on quite the roll, defeating Conor McGregor in two straight bouts at UFC 257 and UFC 264 in 2021.

Chandler will be walking into the octagon against Poirier coming off of a win against Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. ‘Iron’ Mike won that bout in epic fashion, knocking out his opponent with a front kick that rearranged Ferguson’s face temporarily.
