UFC 280: Sean O'Malley looks incredibly sharp ahead of Petr Yan fight

Sean O’Malley has taken part in his final sparring session as he gears up for the biggest fight of his life at UFC 280.

For the longest time now, Sean O’Malley has been seen as one for the future in the UFC’s bantamweight division.

Through his phenomenal striking and unique personality, ‘Suga’ has built up a real following as one of the most popular stars in mixed martial arts.

Now, after picking up a string of wins over lesser opposition, O’Malley is hoping to jump straight to the front of the queue as he gears up for a mammoth clash with Petr Yan at UFC 280.

The two men have been going back and forth for months and they’ll finally get the chance to settle their differences on the big stage in Abu Dhabi next weekend.

In recent weeks, fans have picked up on the fact that Sean seems to be taking this training camp more seriously than he ever has before. The 27-year-old seems sharp, ready to go and as motivated as he’s ever been to move one step closer to a title shot at 135 pounds.

His head coach, ​Tim Welch, even had some words of wisdom for him just before the youngster stepped into the cage.

​​“You’re the worst motherf***er in the division to fight. You’re the number one guy. You’re the number one guy. You’re ready.”

There are few obstacles bigger in MMA than Petr Yan.

‘No Mercy’ is the former UFC bantamweight champion and although he’s 0-2 against current king Aljamain Sterling, neither victory was particularly decisive.

This is a man who has faced some
