UFC 277: Julianna Pena's daughter providing back-up at Amanda Nunes weigh-in

Julianna Pena had some extra back up during her face-off with Amanda Nunes ahead of their crunch UFC clash on Saturday night.

The two will go head-to-head again at UFC 277 in Texas following Pena’s shock victory over Nunes in December.

The Brazilian two-weight world champion is one of the greatest female fighters in history and she was expected to defeat Pena in the first encounter.

The Venezuelan Vixen had other ideas though and she won via submission in the second round to earn the Bantamweight title.

There has been a lot of tension in the build-up to the bout but Pena has admitted that she is willing to do anything to keep her belt.

The 32-year-old said: “I am going to punch, kick, pull her hair – I’m going to bite her, I’m going to gouge her eyeballs out if I have to.

“I’m literally going to do everything in there. Trust me when I say I am ready and willing to die.

“Whatever it takes, I’m going to do whatever it takes.”

There was another star of the show during the stand-off ahead of the fight as Pena’s daughter was eager to get involved.

During the intense moment between the fighters, Pena’s daughter Isabella could be seen behind her mother clenching her fists.

The current champion will have to win the fight without the help of her daughter though and her fierce rival is adamant that she will regain her title.

Julianna Peña had backup from her daughter at the final faceoff.
