UEFA are reportedly considering another major change to the Champions League that could greatly impact a number of Premier League clubs.

The top eight sides following the league stage will progress to the knockout rounds, with the following 16 sides set to compete in a two-legged play-off to secure their respective progressions.
On the changes set to be introduced ahead of the 2024/25 season, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said: "This new format supports the status and future of the domestic game throughout Europe as well. It retains the principle that domestic performance should be the key to qualification and reconfirms the principles of solidarity right through the game and of open competition.
