Uber confident Rangers fanatics point and laugh at Celtic as they tell the Hotline their rivals are utter fools

It might be April Fools’ Day but good natured banter was in short supply on the Hotline as the biggest weekend of the Premiership season edges closer. Hibs could be in hot water for taking a light-hearted dig at Rangers’ penalty award on X on Saturday.

Hoops assistant John Kennedy declared Celtic in good shape for Sunday’s Ibrox showdown after beating Livingston 3-0. But John Davidson, Kirkintilloch, said: “I see Celtic were making the back page with their very own April Fool gag: Ready for Rangers. Never ever, let’s see what happens on Sunday at Ibrox. As the saying goes, a wise head keeps a shut mouth.”

John Bruce emailed: “Rangers stormed to the top of the league with a dominant victory over Hibs, with Philippe Clement making full use of the quality on his subs bench.
