Tyson Fury: Wife Paris reveals 'only reason' Gypsy King will return to the boxing ring

Tyson Fury will only end his retirement from boxing for a unification fight, his wife Paris has revealed.

The Gypsy King, 33, successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title last weekend against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the other four belts in the division, is due to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua later this year.

AJ had his unified heavyweight titles ripped from his clutches in his Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tussle with slick southpaw Usyk last September.

“He has nothing more to prove.

“That’s the thing, if he had anything left to do, I’d say, ‘Yeah Tyson, you do it’.

“He has nothing to prove so unless he really wants to box on and if he’s just doing it for whatever, money, fame, he doesn’t need that.

“He’s the most famous man on the planet tonight.

“He does not need to be any more famous.

“We’re very blessed and lucky not to need any more money.

“I mean, the man has done everything he ever could do.

“I’m happy with where we are and what we’ve got and for Tyson to keep boxing it just seems for one reason.

“I know in my heart the only reason Tyson would come back is for a unification fight.

“I think that would be only the reason Tyson would come back to the ring because he has nothing left to prove, to keep boxing on, there’s nothing there for him.”

Likewise, Johnny Nelson also can’t see any way Fury stays retired for long.

Nelson told Sky Sports: “I think Tyson Fury has no intention of retiring; this is talk. His life is boxing, that’s what he does… he’s not going to
