Tyson Fury: When Gypsy King showed his elite mentality after suffering massive cut

Tyson Fury hasn’t had it all his own way during his career and he seems to produce his best moments when he’s under the cosh.

During his September 2019 fight against Swedish Heavyweight Otto Wallin, fans expected the Gypsy King to brush the challenger aside.

Fury suffered a terrible cut above his right eye early in the fight and it was clearly troubling him throughout.

Corner Cam from that encounter shows just how determined the British fighter was to just get on with it.

In between rounds, Fury’s trainer, Ben Davison said: “Keep doing as you’re doing.”

The Gypsy King replied: “I live for this s**t!”

Hoping to give Fury the tactics he needed to win the fight, Davison said: “You shoot in and smother him.

“You’re shooting your shots and smothering his counter. Working inside…you’re hitting the body and bringing them up! Keep that up!

“He’s going to crack, believe me he’s going to crack!”
