Tyson Fury warned by Oleksandr Usyk manager ahead of 'take it or leave it' fight offer

Oleksandr Usyk’s manager has stated that Tyson is set to receive a “take it or leave it” offer over an undisputed fight.

The Ukrainian was unable to finalise an agreement with Fury earlier this year, leading negotiations to be ditched in March. Usyk is now set to face WBA mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois, which is expected to be held in Poland in August, while Fury is still searching for his next opponent.

A heavyweight double-header in the Middle East between Usyk and Fury, plus Anthony Joshua and Deonatay Wilder, has been tipped for the end of the year. Usyk has fuelled suggestions that negotiations are heading in the right direction by signing with Saudi Arabian promotion company Skills Challenge Entertainment. However, his manager has warned that it will be make or break for Fury, not just for the fight with Usyk but his career.

"According to my knowledge (Fury’s team) will receive a formal written offer very soon and it will be Tyson's decision whether to take it or leave it," Usyk's promoter Alex Krassyuk told iFL TV.

"We've done everything possible to make this fight happen and the ball is on Tyson's side.

"It's an offer to take it or leave it. If you take it then you have the biggest fight of your career. If you hesitate or try to trade out something or try to swing around, it shows that you're not serious.

"And you have to relinquish the belt and retire, not for one month or one week, as you used to retire recently, but probably forever."

However, Daniel Dubois will be looking to spoil the plans that Usyk’s team have put in place. Krassyuk bid more than £6.5m in order to host the event and enable Usyk to fight in
