Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to face off on Saturday night in their so-called Ring of Fire fight and, if the pre-bout preamble in Saudi Arabia over the last few days is anything to go by, it's going to be a dramatic night. The Gypsy King's dad was left bloodied after a video showed him appearing to headbutt a member of Usyk's team in a scuffle at a media day in Riyadh yesterday, as the war of words between both sides gets increasingly personal ahead of the high-stakes bout.

The long-awaited heavyweight contest will see the crowning of the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 with Fury and Usyk going head to head for the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, marking a major moment for the sport. The fight was originally due to take place on February 17 but was postponed after Fury suffered a cut to his eye during a sparring session.

The road to the ring has been a mixed bag for the two competitors, with Fury riding in from a disappointing performance and controversial split decision in a fight last October against Francis Ngannou the most memorable moment of which was Fury being knocked off his feet by the former MMA star in the third round. Meanwhile Usyk scored a decisive victory over Brit Daniel Dubois in August arguably giving him he edge in terms of momentum heading into the clash.

Early indications are there will be a rematch clause following the fight but ultimately the winner is likely to end up taking on Anthony Joshua in another milestone moment for the sport.
