Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk card blow as fight cancelled with less than two weeks to go

With less than two weeks to go until the eagerly awaited rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, there's been a huge shake-up in the undercard.

'The Gypsy King' is out for retribution after Usyk handed him his first professional boxing loss earlier this year in May. In a tightly fought contest, the undefeated Ukrainian won by split decision to become the undisputed heavyweight champion - an accomplishment not seen since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

The two heavyweight titans are set to square off again on December 21, promising a thrilling night for boxing enthusiasts. The event next weekend also heralds the return of rising heavyweight Moses Itauma as he gears up for the most challenging fight of his career against Demsey McKean, who has only ever lost to Filip Hrgovic.

Also included in the undercard is unbeaten sensation Johnny Fisher, who will take on Dave Allen, while Dennis McCann goes head-to-head with Peter McGrail for the former's European super bantamweight title.

Despite the star-studded line-up, there's been an alteration to the event with less than a fortnight until the main event. The co-main event was originally scheduled to feature Uzbekistan's highly-rated fighter Israil Madrimov against Ukraine's Serhii Bohachuk. However, due to illness, Madrimov had to withdraw from the bout, reports the Mirror US.
