Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3: Fight date, venue and what we know so far

Tyson Fury is set to announce this week that Derek Chisora will be his next opponent, with the undefeated WBC Heavyweight champion naming his long-time adversary as his next fight.

It will complete the trilogy of the long-standing rivalry between the pair, with Fury winning in both 2011 and in 2014, with the latter coming a year before he became World Champion for the first time against Vladmir Klitschko. Meanwhile, Chisora has seen his stock rise within the heavyweight division having beaten Kubrat Pulev in July after a run of defeats in recent years.

Chisora is not one of the names who was most expected by fans to fight Fury, with his ranking of 14 with the WBC leaving some question marks surrounding the fight's prestige as a top world title fight. However with two of the UK's most popular fighters taking to the ring, it is sure to be a huge event should an agreement be reached.

The fight is expected to take place on Fury's preferred date of Saturday, December 3rd, with the date having been proposed during negotiations with Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn.

The fight is still expected to take place at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, with the venue in the Welsh capital having been expected to stage the fight against Joshua before negotiations collapsed. The pair could not come to an agreement, with Fury setting an ultimatum for an agreement which was not met.
