Usyk is the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and Ring magazine champion, having successfully defended his titles against Joshua last year, whilst Fury stopped Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora to defend his WBC title. Both men are unbeaten and an announcement about an undisputed fight was expected for the first time in the four-belts era, following Frank Warren’s tease on Sunday.

The WBA are now expected to order Usyk to fight against mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois. BoxingBenn v Eubank Jr postponed following failed drugs test06/10/2022 AT 15:50 BoxingBenn v Eubank Jr in doubt as boxing board ‘prohibits’ fight after ‘adverse’ drugs test05/10/2022 AT 13:01
