Tyson Fury shows off southpaw training footage ahead of Dillian Whyte bout

Ahead of his hotly anticipated bout with Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury has shared a video of his latest training session to his Twitter page.

The Gypsy King is currently sitting at the top of the heavyweight division as boxing’s WBC champion with an impressive unbeaten record, and if he beats Whyte, he will retain his title and move on to an undisputed title fight.

Fury’s last fight saw him face Deontay Wilder on October 9th, 2021, in Nevada, United States. The fight saw Fury win with an 11th round knockout.

The anticipation for the Fury v Whyte match has been steadily on the rise since the fight with many expecting it to be one of the best bouts to take place.

Whilst Fury and Whyte are expected to fight on April 23rd, the match is still waiting to be officially rubber-stamped. Despite this, the WBC has created a commemorative one-off ‘Union Belt’ which will be awarded to the winner along with the WBC and Ring magazine titles.

Cardiff’s Principality Stadium is looking like the front runner to host the showdown with other venues also being considered.

The video shared to Fury’s social media was captioned: “Great work with poppa bear, pad working out for the bum white. Probs gonna do southpaw this fight just to show the world how good I am vs White feathers.”

Fury can be seen dancing around the ring and is powerful on the pads as he works hard in preparation for the fight. Looking to be on top of his game, Fury seems to be in the best shape possible and will be ready to step into the ring as soon as the time comes.

All eyes will be on the ring as the fellow Brits finally face each other in, what is set to be, an unforgettable match.
