Tyson Fury reveals plan for 'another five fights' including Anthony Joshua showdown

Undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has announced that he's not ready to retire yet. He said: "I keep hearing talk of people saying that I should retire, or I'm going to retire soon. I'm not retiring anywhere."

Fury revealed his plan for five more fights in a video on social media. "I've got two fights with (Oleksandr) Usyk for the undisputed, twice, then I'm going to fight AJ (Anthony Joshua) at least once, maybe twice if there's a rematch, if he wants one after the first battering I'll give him.

"Then I'm going to fight (Francis) Ngannou again and that's just the start. So there's five fights for you to whet your appetite with. I ain't going nowhere, 35-year-old in the prime of my life."

It comes after fans were worried about Fury's career when he had to withdraw from his fight against Usyk due to an injury. He had suffered a cut to his eye during training that needed 11 stitches.

The same spot had previously required 47 stitches after Otto Wallin left Fury's face bloodied in their 2019 match. Despite this, Fury is determined to continue fighting.

The Gypsy King is currently healing before his rescheduled fight against Usyk on May 18 in Saudi Arabia. He revealed that his match with the holder of multiple heavyweight titles will have a rematch clause.

After sorting out his fights with Usyk, Fury might face Joshua in the first undisputed heavyweight fight since Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield's bout in 1999. This could be the first all-British heavyweight title fight this century.
