Tyson Fury has already made up his mind on Katie Taylor ahead of Amanda Serrano fight

Tyson Fury has hailed Katie Taylor as "the immortal of boxing" as The Bray Bomber puts her lightweight titles on the line against Amanda Serrano this Saturday. The fight between two of the greatest women boxer's in the world is being held at Madison Square Garden this weekend, with the bout the first female fight to ever headline the famous arena.

And whilst the focus will all be on the result of the fight, the Gypsy King has already given his opinion on Taylor, saying that she is already the immortal of boxing. Before her fight against Firuza Sharipova, a bout she won via unanimous decision, Fury posted a story on his Instagram in support of the Irish boxer, insisting that the 35-year-old continues to go from strength to strength.

Coming into the fight, both fighters have impressive records, with Taylor remaining unbeaten during her five-year professional career, with her latest win coming in December last year to maintain her 20-0-0 record.

Serrano has lost just once in 44 fights across a 13-year professional career. The 33-year-old is currently the Unified Featherweight Champion, holding the WBO, IBO and WBC titles. In just over a decade, Serrano has defeated nine world champions and held belts in seven different divisions, from super flyweight to light welterweight.
