Tyson Fury documentary: Netflix confirm production of multi-part series
Tyson Fury is going to be the subject of a Netflix documentary series in what is likely to be a massive hit for boxing fans.
The streaming giant has announced plans for the docuseries and it is currently in production.
The Gypsy King’s story is one of the most fascinating in all of sport and it is likely to appeal to many due to the struggles he has been through – as well as his many highs in boxing.
The two-time heavyweight champion is currently retired but there has been talk recently of a possible trilogy fight with Derek Chisora or a titanic bout with world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has been extremely open in the past regarding his mental health struggles and he also suffers from bipolar disorder.
The series named ‘At Home with the Furys’ will focus on the 34-year-old’s home and family life as he gets to grips with his surprise retirement.
Announcing the series, Netflix gave a short insight into what the docuseries will be about.
They wrote on Twitter: “Netflix is in production on a multipart documentary with global boxing star Tyson Fury!
“The series will have exclusive access to the heavyweight champion of the world as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his extraordinary family.”
News of the documentary comes as the undefeated fighter is being linked to a possible undisputed clash with Usyk.
He claimed on Instagram that it would take a huge amount of money to make the bout.
