Tyrone Mings addresses ‘threat’ as Gareth Southgate uses Steven Gerrard example

Tyrone Mings is placing his ‘trust in the process’ as England boss Gareth Southgate starts to whittle down his squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

Aston Villa captain Mings has become a regular under Southgate in the past three years to earn 16 caps for his country. The 29-year-old is poised to play in England’s friendly with Ivory Coast at Wembley on Tuesday evening.

Speaking about Kane, Southgate said: “If he had his way he’d play 90 minutes
