Tyler Adams reveals dual desires that fuelled his Leeds United move

Tyler Adams wants to hit the ground running at Leeds United in a bid to help the USA achieve World Cup success at Qatar 2022.

Adams has joined Leeds on a five-year deal from RB Leipzig for a fee of £20m, becoming the Whites fifth summer signing. The 23-year-old has won 30 caps for his country and is likely to make their 26-man squad for the World Cup later this year. And the 23-year-old midfielder believes both the MLS and Bundesliga experience he gained has stood him in good stead, helping him to develop into the player he is now.

"It’s been really really good," Adams said of his Bundesliga experience.

"A lot of ups and downs, learning curves. Everything has been a learning process for me, played under different coaches that had different styles of play which I’ve had to adapt to and offer a wide variety of styles of play to my game. But for
