Two ways Man City could line up for Premier League fixture vs Wolves

Manchester City return to action on Saturday lunchtime when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

The Blues will still be riding high following the brilliant comeback victory over Borussia Dortmund in Wednesday night's Champions League fixture. Jude Bellingham gave the Bundesliga side the lead on 56 minutes with a close-range header.

However, wonder goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland in the dying stages of the match saw the Blues rescue a victory from the jaws of defeat. With Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United not playing due to postponements and leaders Arsenal not in action until Sunday, Pep Guardiola's team have the perfect chance to gain an advantage over their rivals this weekend.

City's performance was far from vintage against Borussia Dortmund. Even before a ball was kicked, Guardiola hinted that the team we saw in the Champions League could be different to the one that plays at Molineux.

With that in mind, I would make four changes to the team that beat Dortmund. With Kyle Walker having been picked for England duty, you would assume he is not far from a return to the side.

If he can play at right-back, that would free Stones to play in his natural role in the centre of defence. In midfield, a return for Bernardo Silva may be beneficial following his recent good form.

Meanwhile, neither Riyad Mahrez nor Jack Grealish shone against Dortmund. Their replacements, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden, both looked lively though and deserve to be recalled.
