Two teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after boy, 16, stabbed

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 16-year-old boy was knifed in Gorton on Tuesday (March 5).

Emergency services raced to the scene of the attack on Forber Crescent at around 6.30pm and found the teenage victim with serious stab wounds to his hand. He was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged.

A large cordon was erected on Forber Crescent with investigations ongoing throughout the evening. CID officers made door to door enquiries as a silver taxi was also inspected by police within the cordon.
